OCS SUMMER ATHLETIC CAMPS 2017 (See below for camp offerings and dates).

Time: 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Location: Troy Athens Softball Fields, 4333 John R Road, Troy MI 48085 Get ready for a phenomenal camp experience! *throwing technique to improve strength, speed and accuracy *hitting technique to improve power *infield/outfield techniques to help players get control of the ball, transfer & release quickly These are all skills that will be developed during the middle school softball development camp.

Time: 9:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. This camp will teach drills and techniques making each player better offensively and defensively. The camp will be made up of several mini camps covering how to field a ground ball, how to lead off a base, the importance of the load when batting, how to bunt, and how to throw. We will end each day with a controlled scrimmage and pitching instruction. This camp is open to any middle school aged boy, so invite your friends.

Time 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Lancer basketball camp is designed to instruct students on the individual and team skills of basketball. It has a big focus on the fundamentals of the game and beginning points of team play. Players and coaches within the boys' and girls' programs work as instructor and coaches throughout the week. Players participate in station work, camp contests, daily games, and camp tournament. Each player will receive a camp t-shirt. Players can order a pizza lunch if they desire.

Time: 10:00am - 2:00pm Lancer Shooting Academy is designed for the development of shooting form and production. Each day the players will be drilled on the fundamentals of shooting form. Within the instruction time fundamental skill will be drilled through technique drills, development drills and competition. The goal is to provide 4 days of sound shooting development of which the athlete can build on. Camp will be directed by Coach Dennis Hopkins and Coach Jaret Thomas. Camp is open to OCS and non-OCS students.
